Dear Valuable Customers...
It's difficult to believe that school will be starting soon and the Brickyard 400 is already over, but even though summer is passing quickly we can look forward to more hot weather! Just think... August would be a great time to enjoy a fine dinner at Peterson's where you can sit back in our air-conditioned, quiet, plush dining room and sip a glass of wine. You will be so relaxed that you won't even think about the high price of gasoline.
Speaking of prices, we are starting our Monday and Thursday Summer Dinner Special on August 4th that will be offered through September 18th. We'll feature a terrific menu that will allow you to enjoy a wonderful evening and still stay on budget.
Did you know that our bartenders make many of our special fruit drinks from scratch? Please let us know if you have special requests, they love showing off their creativity and presentations! Don't forget our popular 'Pinetini', if you like martinis, you will love this original from Peterson's.

Peterson's has gone green!
Thanks to the help of all Peterson's staff members, we have started recycling. In the short time since starting the program, we are amazed at how much we are able to recycle and hope that this encourages others to start recycling at home.
Our recent Domaine Serene Wine Dinner was a wonderful success. We are planning more wine dinners for future dates. As soon as the next one is scheduled, we look forward to communicating the details in hopes you will join us.
August and September will be a great time to visit Peterson's, on Mondays and Thursdays, for our three-course dinner special for just $35 per person.

Double T – Trefethen Family Vineyards
Our featured wine for the months of August and September is a selection by the name of Double T, brought to us by Trefethen Family Vineyards of Napa Valley. The name of the wine is derived from the quadrilateral cordon trellis, commonly referred to as 'Double T.' The vine branches, or cordons, are pruned and trained to have four arms resembling two 'T's' The name also pays tribute to John and Janet Trefethen, the owners of the winery.
The wine is a true Bordeaux-style blend, with Cabernet Sauvignon being the dominant variety. Small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot and Malbec are added for complexity and smoothness. The wine offers aromas of plums, blackberry jam, cloves, and toasted oak. Medium bodied, the palate displays flavors of blackberries, raspberries, and currants with rich chocolate on the finish.
I find the wine to be very enjoyable... a delicious compliment to heavier seafood such as our red grouper with roasted tomato and rock shrimp sauce. Of course, the Double T matches quite well with our meats, especially our lamb chops. The next time you join us at Peterson's, please enjoy a glass of Double T!

On Wednesday, July 30th, we were pleased to have 41 special guests join us for our spectacular Domaine Serene Wine Dinner. The famous collection of wines paired with Chef Jeff's cuisine proved to be amazing!
